A logistics tracking web portal built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, designed to help both administrators and customers monitor shipment progress efficiently in real time.

About the project

The portal consists of two primary sections: an Admin Dashboard for managing shipment records and tracking data, and a Customer Interface for viewing real-time delivery status using tracking numbers. Both were designed to prioritize responsiveness, accessibility, and clean data presentation.

Project Details

BLI Web Portal is a full-featured logistics tracking system that provides separate interfaces for admin management and customer tracking. The platform was developed using Next.js for high performance and scalability, with a clean and responsive UI built using Tailwind CSS. It connects to a REST API backend for retrieving shipment data, updating statuses, and managing delivery information.

The project’s goal was to create an intuitive user experience that simplifies shipment tracking and logistics management for both ends of the system — ensuring speed, clarity, and reliability.

Things I Did

Developed admin and customer-facing pages using Next.js dynamic routing.
Integrated REST API endpoints to fetch, update, and display tracking data.
Implemented responsive layout and UI consistency with Tailwind CSS utility classes.
Created reusable UI components for shipment tables, status indicators, and search fields.
Optimized page performance through data caching and code-splitting in Next.js.
